| Five is a Blackmouth Cur - think 'Old Yeller' |
This is a personal appeal to all my blog readers. Tragedy hit yesterday when my friends' dog was viciously mauled by another dog. There is more to it, as this family, hit hard by the current economic downturn, have lost their jobs, their home, battling medical conditions, etc... I have opened my home and heart to them, and they are living in a large tent in my backyard until the winter freeze will be too forbidding. But right now, the latest in a long series of sheer horribly bad luck, is that their beautiful, lovely puppy 'Five' was badly injured and we really need all the help we can get right now!
