New gallery - artist relations page

I've been thinking about putting together a type of manifesto for artists to use as a reference when dealing with galleries. All too often are artists ripped off in their dealings as a professional and commonly artists do not sue to ensure their rights. Being informed from the get-go and having a contract in place is the best start, but clearly it doesn't end there.

I'm looking for your feedback. Please let me know if you have anything to add, or correct, or have concerns. Please also note that this page is primarily aimed at the US art market - it may well be very different in other countries!

Galleries are also invited to provide feedback. My main point here is that this is a relationship and that both parties must provide good and fair and honest input. So, hearing your concerns would be really really helpful here.
