Recent News from Artists Unite for Healthcare, a non-profit organization I strongly support: Governor Schwarzenegger vetoed Assembly Bill 1945 (De La Torre), which Artists United had strongly supported. AB 1945 would have established an independent review process if an insurer wanted to rescind coverage and would have allowed insurers to rescind insurance only when a consumer willfully misrepresents his or her health history.
